This 19-6 might look familiar to many of you but it has a new home. TTB has visitation rights anytime.
I did have some questions and gave Doug Kenefick a call this afternoon and this is what he shared; his recollection.
Doug became a RMK dealer in June 1977. Back in the day you could order a minimum of 6 blades with a special forging. The idea for a 19-6 came from a customer of his who wanted a bigger blade so he ordered them sometime around 1980 or so. He said maybe 10-12 were made, but certainly in small numbers.
We shared some stories but overall it was a nice exchange and he is a very nice man to take my call.

Took a few new shots today, hopefully turned out well. I'm sure Mike Mason will chime in. This is one really cool knife and you have to hold it to appreciate the heft and balance.
