Thinking about it, mine was an original Barry Wood, not the Colt variation.

Interesting side note...

I believe Barry had a "Patent" or "Patent Pending on his knife for the swivel handle feature. However...

I once saw a commercial knife from the early 1900's that worked on the same principle. It was on a table at a knife show, the table owner asking a stiff price for it and not being willing to budge. Anyway, I passed it up. Later regretted it as I thought about it, but at the time it did not fall squarely into the areas I was collecting.

Anyway, I don't know if Barry actually got a patent on his design, or just put the "Pending" on it to try and protect what he might have had as an original concept, even though somebody else had already done it.
