I don't "scale"...I "skin" the fish I clean. It is sooooo much faster and much less mess! I disagree with Pappy about the Large Filet, #6-9" being good on smaller fish. Yeah: You can use it but some waste occurs and it's just too much knife! Best, Capt. Chris
