IMHO, other than ripping through the skin of a helicopter or its plexiglass components, the sawteeth have 'zero' functionality.

The Model #15 Randall Knife was designed for Flight Crews in Vietnam. My Son is a Commerical Pilot/ Instructor for a top rated Flight Instruction Universary and flies in lots of aluminum, firerglas, Plastic, and Carbon Fiber Aircraft DAILY. He calls his Randall Combat Companion (with sawteeth) his "PET" (Pilot Extraction Tool". His knife (with sawteeth) will do exactly what it was designed to do.

He doesn't need to "Go Combat" with his knife, he has a HK-40 that does that job a lot better.
