I think I ordered it in the 60's, along with a Solingen Model 18 crutchtip (which was stolen from me in '68). I believe I saved around $5, and got a stainless blade. This working knife lived in my vehicles for decades. More recently, it's been retired from vehicle use, replaced by a stainless KA-BAR.
