Thanks: It's good to know that..although old..my memory still serves me well (sometimes). I think the sheaths are, pretty much. #12-6", "Sportsmans Bowie" sheaths. Most of them that were sewn by Maurice Johnson only dislayed the blade length identification. The #12-6","Little Bear" had the capital letters "LB" on some.
I asked Tom Leschorn if he had anything to do with the medallion and he did not. I cannot advise as to whether it was shop-installed or an add-on furnished and assembled by the skeet club. Whatever is the case, it's a wonderful knife and is in most excellent condition!Best. Capt. Chris
PS: I also think I can make out the infamous "storage dent" on the stone pocket flap?? CCS
