All of the red/blue micarta they have is in block form to be used on standard "CDT" models. Hope this helps. Best, Capt. I am sorry for the mis-information I spewed out there. Nobody to blame but me. I received a Model #5 without thumb notches a few years ago. Apparently that knife was a glitch, not a "doable". You can order a Model #1 with a single hilt and that will not have thumb notches....just sayin'... Best, Capt.
