That 23 has a beautiful "all business" look about it. Plenty of choil too for choking up on the blade. And with that micarta handle it'll be one tough and reliable user and a great companion for your outdoor adventures!

Tony,

are the FG of the regular kind or is the handle slab sided and the FG "under" like on Rod's knife or on a #15?

How I wish I had made that acquisition! laugh

Best, Peter

Peter,
The finger grips on this knife are "under" style, like a #14 or #15, but not as deep as the 14 or 15.
No slab sides, though the handle sides might be slightly less round because of the under FGs.
Thanks,
Tony

That is one awesome knife Peter. And it's carbon steel. cool The 23 is my favorite user and yours looks similar to the one I use. Use it in good health.

Yes Steve - it's a great knife. And when I got it, it immediately reminded me of the one in your avatar wink

Best, Peter
