Jim... that's figured or flamed Pink Ivory. Pretty rare stuff and even more so when it's figured!

This might be an interesting comparison. Here are 4 different "grips" on the same Randall model. It just may help folks compare one, verses the other.
Best, Capt. Chris

Best, Capt. Chris

Hi Guys and Capt. Chris
Here is a photo of various grips in you guessed it Ironwood.
You can see the different shapes available.
From left to right there is Concave, Model 22 with Crow's Beak, Border Patrol, Commando, Straight, and maybe Teardrop
Oops I forgot single finger grip and I don't have finger grips yet.

Peter

Cap & Peter,

Beautiful woods on those handles. It's great to see the different types to compare.

Peter and you others trying to "get a grip":

Here's a couple of crude shots of a Model #23, "Gamemaster" with ironwood and RH finger grips.
Best, Capt. Chris

I can easily imagine a good grip on that #23 - wouldn't even want to let it go smile

Capt. Chris
If only that 23 had left hand grips, I would be trying to get it
Great ironwood
