I reveived my #28 today via USPS. I am really impressed. This #28 could really be the new go-to "camp" knife good for almost any job, hunting or fishing. The drop point and thumb notches feel super good. This is one great user Randall for sure.

My Woodsman was in Ogdensberg on Monday, picked it up Tuesday. Wow, what a knife! Have been busy this week with the maple sap run. The weather is as perfect as it gets and have had my Woodsman on the whole time. Will attempt to attach pics...

Hey folks tried to attach some photos. However, they were all a bit over sized except the one of my dog. I will review Rhett's "How to enter photos" posting. The other problem I am having is that when I try converting them from the raw files which are huge, the Nikon program will only allow me 640 X 426 as a minimum...which for the knife photos translated to greater than 100KB.

If you have a Windows machine, go to the Windows website and search for the picture resizer powertoy. I am not sure if it works for all versions, but it does for XP and that is generally what I use to resize. Otherwise IRFANVIEW is a really good photo manipulation software you can download for personal use for free.
Hope this helps and enjoy your Woodsman.

Norm,

Send the photo (or photos) to me (lunde@adobe.com), and can either adjust them so that they are under 100,000 bytes then return them, or can host them for you. If you feel that they need some work, it is best to send to me the highest resolution you have, such as the photos just as they came off of your digital camera.

Here's a surprise gift that came in the mail yesterday from my "little" brother Jere in Charlotte.

He is now officially forgiven for the time in 1960 that he hid behind the front seat of my car and waited till I had driven a few minutes from the house, had the AM radio turned up full blast, and then reached around and strangled me while screaming "bloody murder".

Thanks to both Peter and Ken. I hope to take you up on your kind offer, Ken, when I get home tonight. For the future I will investigate the programs you mentioned Peter...

Cheers, Norm

What a nice "Little" Brother ... but then, you must be a nice "Big" Brother!
