That's just awesome!

I was offered one awhile back for big bucks.......................I passed on it, it sold the next day!

Maybe next time.

That red AG bone reminded me of this red dyed stag Saddle.
Really nice solid knife...barrel shaped like I like them.

HI JOHN!!! That's an awesome saddlehorn. Do you know the story behind that died stag? Very rich looking handle material. Thanks for the look.

I am not too sure about the history of the dyed stag; I just remember when Reese sold it to me. You may ask him, I bet he remembers the knife. Not only is it rich in color, but also the stag is very dense, a great example of a Bose Knife.

Who ever dyed it knew what they were doing...I would think the “denser” the material the less it would absorb any die...but it sure did.

Hello, I have been looking to get one of these. I was wondering how hard this is going to be? I have been collecting Randalls for awhile. I just started buying some folders about a month ago and I have got to find one of these. I got my first T. Bose last week, a really nice desk knife. Would it be best to order one, or just keep searching? What kind of price am I looking at?

Thanks Alot,
Rick

Welcome to the club Rick...I have been collecting Bose and Terry Davis knives for about 12 yrs and have never bought after market. I order directly from the maker. Dont know if Tony still accepting orders. The makers prices are fair, you can get gouged on prices "after-market"

Hi Rick,
There are a few knife purveyors around that have had them. I saw one that went for $1250...but that was a while back I think. They are out there, you just have to sniff them out. To me the SaddleHorn is one of the coolest patterns...old and new.

Saddlehorns are a great pattern imho.

I seem to (lately) really like the single blade version but you can't go wrong with any version.

...Oh baby, you know what I like...

Now, THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!

Thanks, John. I picked up a single blade from another excellent maker at Blade and hope someday to be able to add one with the Bose name on the tang.
