tglassco Knife Enthusiast Registered: 05/22/07 Posts: 1970 Loc: Gator Country	One of my favorites. Model 12-8 Big Bear Bowie. Dated to late 80's to early 90's with plain snaps on the sheath. The thing that strikes me as different on this Big Bear is the extra long tapered snout on this blade. Much more tapered than most I have seen. It is also a very long knife. The blade is just over 8 1/4" long and with the flanged butt cap the total length is well over 13".
