Here is my model 4-6 w/Heiser sheath, Dale my knife also has the same type stamp. I think these were hand struck stamps. I may be wrong on this, maybe Bo or Joe can help us with this. Later Burnie

Thanks to everyone for posting.
I appreciate you taking the time to do this and to give a brief history of your knives.
You have given us the opportunity to see some great knives and to learn about a great Randall model.

Dale,

I'd have to see a close up of your logo to be sure, but it (and Bernie's) just looks like a "light stamp" and not an etch. Maybe DW can tell us when the shop got in the pneumatic? stamp (Thanks, DW). I believe your knife is pre '72. Otherwise the two thick reds would be brighter if it was '72 or '73.

Griff,

I know what Dave sold the 4-7 for, but the knife changed hands twice since so it wouldn't be cricket to disclose that now. Suffice to say it was pretty much nosebleed territory for a non fighter because because of it's rarety.

Best,

Doug,

What a awesome #4! Gosh, I wonder how you find a nice #4, and then just happen to have Rick "Scratch" on it???

It very nice to see some of the older Senior #4's also.
