Ok...ya got me with the #5 there Bob. From what I understand(and temporarily forgot)is that the serial numbering is for each type of handle material. I have no idea how many of these he has made totally. I ain't the official Bose historian...I just takes pitchez and postses 'em and says what the boss says to me.

Bob,

I can't speak in generalities but I know for sure that my 4" BP (or should I say 4 1/8" BP) made by Tony is not based on the Millennium Trapper but on a scaled down version of his 4.5" BP. (I know this because he told me so. )

I was told the 4.5 was based on a Remington 1123, which had a flush joint. But I'm no expert either.

Men, there is no official BackPocket knife. I call it that because I carry it in my back pocket. I have carried a larger knife there for over 40 years, lncluding factory folding hunters, bullets, dogsheads, daddy barlows as well as many variations of BPs I have made. I have made these with many different blades in them. One thing they have in common is they will all cut stuff.

Is a daddy barlow just is a larger version? I expect someone out there, (and you know who you are), has a nice picture of a daddy barlow.

I'll just curl up here in the fetal position and fill my pants.

Kerry,

It's OK. It's good that Tony ended it before people started hitting each other with their (knife) purses.
