Looks like another fine project beginning!
Can you give me a little info on the linear micarta?
Thanks

Hello Walker,

Linear Ivory Micarta is a paper micarta that has a bit more figure than normal Ivory Micarta. I bought this stuff maybe 40 years ago in the USA, so it might be Westinghouse, but I'm not sure.
It is very nice in appearance, you'll see.

I backed up and noticed that the Captain had it on a bear camp special. Looks good to me!
I’m awaiting your progress.
Thanks

You'd better take a closer" look at my Bearcamp Spl. Walker. It, along with many..."MANY" others is cracked!
I'm not sure this was ever a Westinghouse project but it followed Westinghouse "old yeller" at the Randall shop. It was "going" to be the replacement...but it cracked..."a lot"!
I only have 2 left in my "STASH", for that very reason.
Hope this helps...(or hurts, I'm not sure).
Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris

I did not mean the cracks looked good but the color if the material. I’m still really liking the resin ivory and like seeing other types of materials.
I’m certainly a “work in progress” on these things!
Thanks for the added info, Cap. I can see why the herd is thinnng down on this material.
