Thought I'd show you a new one I just finished.

The Santiam Hunter.

4 1/2" blade of O1/ wrought iron San Mai.

Guard and butt cap made from cable damascus
Handle of Macassar Ebony with a stabilised spalted beech spacer.

Sheath from double stitched 8 ounce bridle leather with Ostrich inlay.

The wrought iron comes from a 17th century ship's anchor I bought in Brittany, France.

The blade's similarity with a Randall nr 23 is not coincidental.

Gert

The knife is very nice, but the handle and spacer are superb. Especially the Ebony.

I really like your work.
