I wish we went back to recycling glass like the old days.

They're slowly realizing that "plastic recycling" just isn't a thing. at all. It's 99% landfill fodder.

There's a limit to how many blow darts you need and one milk jug will likely do the trick.

In my younger days, in the waning years of World War II, we saved tinfoil and rubber bands. I guess that would be "green," but what should we do now with all that rubber and foil?
...and don't even get me started on string!

Here in Roswell Ga....a few years back, it was decided that there was a landfill problem.....the dictators decided, in there feeble little minds that we were throwing away too much garbage....So, in their infinite wisdom they decided that they could cut down the amount of "garbage" if they simply forced everybody to "recycle"....so.....we had to have a "recycling" bin, which of course costs more, then, a company that would come by....along with the garbage men, and pick up the container of "recycling".....problem is....the recycling company didn't like the stuff that was being put in the bins for recycling, so they just took it to the landfill....problem solved!! garbage output reduced!!! recycling....well....we just don't talk about that.....government at it's finest!!!
now we just have 2 trucks that come weekly to do the same thing that 1 truck used to do....makes perfect since to me!!!
OH!!! almost forgot...the recycling trucks are painted green, so all the snow flakes really like it....makes them feel good to know they are saving the planet....

I'm convinced that our "recycle" truck just runs straight to the dump.

I could test that with one of those Apple AirTags (stuffed in a wad of plastic) but I'd rather put that $30 into buying a knife instead of literally sending it to the dump.
