Capt.,
Can you get the #1 style fighter double hilt on a #12-9"?

Jimmy,
You already "have" a #1 style double hilt on a #12-9". Check your Challenger "Mission Memorial" knife. #14 grind or not...It's doable.
Best, Capt. Chris

Thanks Capt. Now I have a good reason to open the old safe and enjoy the MMK.

Hey Jimmy and Captain,

The MMK has a #14 grind, eh?

My son uses my old #12 Sportsman (old grind, leather handle, and what Hunt calls the "fighter guard). It is a real nice knife and is my son's favorite bush knife.

Alan, Thats what I am thinking about ordering. I want the 12-9" Sportsman with brass fighter guard, red white blue spacers, leather commando handle, aluminum butt (rounded), wrist thong, and top bevel sharpened. This will be used for chors around the camp site.

Top bevel sharpened is an automatic on any Model #12. Good all-around choice for "user" Jimmy.
Best, Capt. Chris

Jimmy,

You just about described my son's knife, except his has the regular aluminum butt cap and no wrist thong. It is a real nice knife like the Captain says. Get one, you'll like it.

Cheers,

Other than customer supplied, are black & green micarta the only handle options available for a #16 diver's knife.....what about the blue/red micarta Randall offers?

Thanks.

Just curious here: Could you order a Navy/Marine aircraft survival knife version of the #5?

Cheers,

no, no saw teeth on a 5 inch and it would add too many options
