I’m also sorry that it had to “come home” to you. But we ALL better get ready for this kind of thing to happen more and more! I have seen behaviors at school this year that I never thought I’d see at a school. When you have so many kids with both parents addicted to drugs and in prison, being raised by an elderly grandparent that didn’t do so hot with their own kids, it is expected. We have so many kids that are only interested in drugs, stealing, and guns. Get ready folks!!! Coach _________________________ "Filet that fish? Hell naw! We have 220 kids in High School at the place I worked this year. 7 did stretches of between a week and a month in the Smith County Jail or a Juvenile lockup. One (17) is still being held on $1,000,000 bond for planning to shoot up the school. Several have been in gang shootouts like you described in Tyler this year. Jail doesn’t scare them. Not sure how I would have reacted...i was accosted by a tire iron wielding thug a year ago (6 am @ a 7-11)...luckily, I say LUCKILY for him, my Kimber 45 was in my bag in the car, (I know, I know) I just walked away and he busted my window out and took my phone... Side story, I had the 7-11 pay for the window and new phone....BUT...I...was banned from the store for 6 months!!!
