Mark:
The knife is sheathed in a tight-stitched, Maurice Johnson, roughback sheath..."but"..what makes it "waxed"? Is there a "W" stamped on the back? Nice knife and @ 3 bills someone is getting a collectible user at the same price as a new one!
Best, Capt. Chris
PS: Can anyone tell me what else is "different" on this bad boy from a new one?...CCS

David, email received... stand by for pics.

Hi Chris, the sheath is not marked with a W, but it does have the same waxy texture as the sheath on the 16 I had back in the early 80s (my 16 sheath wasn’t marked with a W either).
