Looks like some more aggw/ice mix for Friday then long range looks like things will moderate a bit for February with temps near freezing in the daytime.

Looks like this will be typical of NE weather and go on until May.

I remember one year,at the end of May,we left for BLADE show and there were still some snow piles in the area.

Yesterday, they upgraded us to 100% expected precipitation for yesterday evening and today. It happened.

We got a good rain yesterday evening and then it froze while falling down. The "freezing rain" kept at it for about 12hrs before shifting over to snow this morning. A few hours into that and still coming down.

Rob,
Good to see that the al gore global warming is affecting evreryone.

I guess he kind of messed up in this....somewhat

Since he started this BS,I have seen colder winters and cooler summers.

Maybe he is talking about the Equator???

Hopefully I will see/play in snow at some point. I've lived here my whole life and have only been in more Northern states in the summer (our slow time). I'm a little jealous at times.

BobT,
That sounds nice to come and visit and play in the snow. But when you live in it for about 5 months of the year,it kind of gets old quite fast.

In New England I enjoy the change in seasons and don't think I would do too well with things being basically the same weather wise all year long.

20 here in East Texas, with about an inch of sleet on the ground.

School is out. A lot of businesses are closed. I’m gonna keep the fire going and stay close to it.

Rain is washing all the snow away … 34 degrees and DROPPING!
Gonna get icy real fast.

Next two days highs of 28, 30 respectively… I’ll be heading to the skeet range…
Don’t enjoy shooting skeet in the cold, but don’t enjoy sitting home when the range is open.

Tony,
Shoot skeet at home!!! No,on 2nd thought, better not. Go to the range and endure the cold.

Our outdoor range is now closed until about Easter, depending on the range conditions. If it is still icy,it will not be opened.
