Here is one more Smith with pure silver hardware, a Narwhal handle, engraving by Skaggs with a pair of Narwhal on the butt cap with the crossed teeth done in gold leaf. Jim I have to admit that even though Stag handles are my favorites... this Narwhal example is beyond amazing. If I ever had a chance to purchase one I'd probably have to sell a kidney. Congrats on a simply stunning Smitty.

Also, a 1oz Pure Silver Texas Rangers Full Size Silver Dollar is in the Butt. The Texas Rangers were a frontier militia group that responded to attacks on settlements from hostile Indians and Mexican Military Forces. Amongst the members of this Elite Fighting Group was Jim Bowie himself, and several of my Kinfolk. My knife arrived just in time for the 185th Anniversary of the Battle of the Alamo (February 23- March 6.) and Texas Independence (March 2.) I apologize in advance for the poor quality of the pictures.
