James and Grant went overboard on this project. Totally awesome set. I had individual sheaths made, but will have my saddle maker friend build me a single non belt carry for a saddle pack or backpack. Before I send them to him, I wanted to share with the group.

Pap,

I love it what a great idea and BMK did a fantastic job. Are those Rowe sheaths?

Incredible set Pappy and couldn’t be going to a more deserving fellow, IMHO.
Are you having several made up for Christmas gifts?

No, this one is for me, but I expect that one of my grandsons will get it. I hope to use it on my late bull elk hunt.

Great looking set Pap, but if I had to pick one it would be the little caping blade.

That's why the big 3. The hatchet for the heavy work, the Field and Stream for the basic skinning, and the small pocket pigtail for capping. Also, wanted the crotch antler handle because you get more grip, and wrist thong to keep each tool from getting lost or slipping off. I will probably change out the latago to pink paratrooper cord for visibility.

Understandable, I once had to take a rake out to the woods in the morning to locate my 3 in model 10.

My saddle maker came by today and picked up this set and we discussed some ideas. So will see the results in a month.
