Gert’s stunning Puukko had me going through some of my Puukko knives and I came across this beauty. I just can’t figure out who the maker is and any help would be greatly appreciated. The knife is very well made and the bolster is made of Sterling silver and marked as such. I can’t pinpoint the handle material. The blade is beautiful Damascus. The blade has a marking on it that I think looks like LJ but I am not sure what or who it is.

Beautiful knife! I have no idea who this maker is, but the overall looks are European to me. Could be wrong. I'm pretty sure the handle material is Oosik.

Thanks for the help Gert! I appreciate it. I inherited this one from my grandfather in his collection and unfortunately I never knew it existed. Sure wish I could ask him about it. Its very well made.
