For hunting, I've always found the smaller knives most useful.
The model 8 is very cool.
But "B."
I always thought a Mod 20 or 21 tricked out would be nice.

B) I'm okay with the hunting idea but I'd prefer a Denmark special or gtr.

The blade on the current 17 is funky looking......simple as that Scott. My comment wasn’t said to start an argument with you or anyone else. It was a legit comment. How cool would it be to build a 17 exactly like the early 17’s. There are probably many of us that would want to own a 17 like that. As for your comment about building a 40’s Mod 1 or a 60’s Mod 18 well they haven’t changed Nearly as much as the 17. But yeah I would like that too. Would you have not been such a wise guy if I had said “awkward” blade instead of “funky”?

B.
In the spirit of QB Nix winning his first game at Auburn against the Oregon Ducks, lets go hunting some quackers.
A hunting knife, Model 8, is great, or a Model 7, or another smaller "Duck" Knife.
