I had my one good eye fixed but he would not fix to 20-20 as he wanted me to wear glasses as protection. I only need glasses now to read up close as I can see at a distance just as good as with my glasses. I could get by with reading glasses now. Glad all went well with you Warren. The marvels of modern tech.

Sidney,

You said a mouthful. Right out of recovery I could see immediately.
Yes, this procedure is quick. The events leading up to and after are not. It's lots of drops and follow-ups. Glad you're ok as well.

Just had my eyes checked after 4 years
Right eye same line different position
Left eye up one line
vision change very slight
Been wearing glasses since age 13
Progressive lenses very costly
bad astigmatisum
surgeon says laser 4% lense surgery 4%
not a candidate
riding and fishin glasses will suffice
they are bifocals distance and 20 inches good for iron sights iron horses and arms length readin
could wear same script for past 6 years
tried an on line source for progressive will give em a chance for $100 probably coming for the far east
lenses today are poly and I do a lot of stupid stuff with grinders. cutting, flame and pyro-tech so I guess I'll keep wearing them

Get another exam IMO. You may have other options not offered to you from your current provider.
