These are annuals, not perennials, but I thought I'd share anyway. Before picture from a couple weeks ago and after picture from today.

Your sunflowers are further ahead than mine. Mine haven't grown a head yet. Check out this one from my neighbor last year.

That's impressive Pap. I never had any luck growing those. They really need to grow next to a structure and I don't have any room.

I used regular Miracle grow and my neighbor used Richard Jackson's Blossom Booster and it was unbelievable. His sunflowers were like 3 year old pine trees. I found it only on QVC, and am using it this year on my tomatoes and flowers. So far, my tomatoes are like a jungle already.

We've only used Espoma organic fertilizers. Plant Tone & Holly Tone. You only need to fertilize 2x season. Produts like Miracle Grow need frequent application.
A tip: Have Hydrangeas and want blue flowers, feed them Holly Tone.
Want pink, feed Plant Tone.
Acid/ Alkaline soil changes the color.
Works on Flox plants as well.

I'll look into it Pap. We've tried other traps and they don't work well. Thank you for the info.

Coach,
They're filling out more every day. Here's a few closer looks before they're gone. They only last a few weeks. Fortunately other lillies bloom later so we always have something in bloom.

Here are my tomatoes, the outside ones are heirloom and the middle ones are Galina gold cherry tomatoes. 30 growing tomatoes on each of the heirlooms and over 40 on the Galina. I use the Richard Jackson's bloom booster 4 times a week. A gallon of water and tablespoon of booster is enough for all the mater plants plus flowers.
