Thanks Y’all.

We had a great day. Kids and grandkids live in the suburbs of Dallas so coming home to the woods is a treat.

The kids burnt up a tank of gas riding the 4 wheeler on the trails while my Bride took the grandkids on her golf cart.

Both of my dogs registered over 10 miles on their trackers chasing after them.

We shot off a few fireworks after dark and then went to bed. Everybody slept like corpses, we were so tired.

My Bride and I got up Sunday morning and fixed breakfast. Eggs, bacon, left over sausage, fried taters, pancakes, French toast, biscuits, and gravy.

After breakfast, we sent them on their way back to the rat race and my Bride & I threw it into RE-LAXX.

The ice cream freezer is my fave. I remember as a kid my brother and I took turns sitting on folded up newspapers on the freezer while the other cranked the handle on the "breezeway". It was sure worth it.
Thanks for the memories.

Tom,

That’s the way we did it when I was a kid up until last year when my Bride asked for an electric White Mountain Model for her birthday.

I can now make ice cream and cook at the same time.

As you well know, being out in the East Texas Summertime heat all day, (100 F, 100% humidity) like it was Saturday, homemade ice cream really hits the spot!

Here's my Birthday meal, prime rib, Cesear salad and Greek tomato, mozzarella, olives, and feta cheese. I also made some horseradish sauce. Yummy, and I had both my kids and their family, but not the older grandboys, they are scattered.

Didn't have a cake, didn't want to burn the house down. But daughter went to a wedding reception and brought me a few pieces of homemade strawberry cake, outrageous.
