Lots of great Bose knives here and in the other forum, but this looks like the granddaddy of ‘em all.

I assume it’s the hardest to make to get all of those blades in there without rubbing. I’m guessing that’s where the swedges help. I’ve also heard of something called “crinking” the blades so they all fit and don’t rub, but I’m not sure if someone just made that up.

The no. 6 means the sixth in that pattern by Tony, or is it for Tony and Reese?

I'm with you Ran, maybe we should check out Depends?

Crinking is exactly what you think. It is basically bending the blades a precise amount to achieve clearance. Not only are swedges for decorative effect but they also allow clearance for some blades as well as nail pull access. #6 means this is the 6th bone 5 blade sowbelly by Tony.

I'd hate to do your laundry!
I'm with you though on the mini clip blade. It is my favorite blade on the knife. It's just a cool looking blade.

Tony must have been bored -- he always says if you're bored, just add blades. Very sweet.
