kinda amazes me when I see guys trying to sell a knife and have it laying on concrete or some other unsuitable surface. This nimrod takes it to the next level. Note the two photos that show the blade either resting on the tip or stuck between pavers and gravel to hold it up.

No matter what knife you have it can dent the edge somewhat. That guy is an idiot.
However there are probably hundreds of thousands of old Randall knives in un suitable places. Perhaps even in the hands of old enemies that were taken from American soldiers after the fact.
I'm sure many of you have seen the antique road show scene of the ww2 era knife that the daughter knew nothing about.
