What has happened to all of the AGM handled knives? They seem to have all dried up. I have been looking for either a 3-5, 11-4, 26, 25 or any small hunting knives and none to be had. You can't even find them on ebay. Did they get banned or just hid out? oldguy

Buckspen has been steadily posting AGM knives on eBay... sometimes yellow but he does a lot of AGM as well.

Must have missed this post. Just wondering when you passed on the AGM on your pancakes if you settled on the trusty 27 instead?

My apologies for starting the hijacking of your thread Oldguy... not my intention at all.

Perhaps you should put a request in the Want To Buy section. I did last year on a loooong shot #10-3'' AGM. By the grace of 1 of the VERY BEST members in our community I was fortunate enough to acquire 1 at Blade. So it can be done just takes patience and some help. 8-)

That #12-9" looks like my Bone Linen...which (By the way Jerry) "IS" still available. The demise of Old Yeller and AGM is the reason I commissioned 3 sheets made in Germany!
Best, Capt. Chris

Piddling around this morning, thought this may fit here, with the AGM thread...the Capt preaches about this quite often, and here is a great example....This is a #10 that was a re handle by BMK a couple years ago...was, and came to me as AGM....now it's ADDM(antique do do micarta) care should be given to this material....all is not equal

Rocky,

Here's a BMK that I purchased second hand several years ago and it's a kitchen staple around here. Not certain if it started as AGM but it looks similar to yours. I actually like it.

Warren....my picture looks better than it really is....it's more to the dodo side of the color range. Now, not that there's anything wrong with the color of dodo, I'm sure many like the color....and as you mention, you bought yours that way, not knowing if it was a different color prior. I, on the other hand, wanted AGM, which was short lived.
just so ya know, if I sold it today, I would advertise the color to be dodo, or hockey...hockey has a more appealing flow(no pun) to it, I might use hockey...maybe it's AHM....
:-)Rocky
