When I placed my very first order for a Randall Made Knife, I debated between the #14 and the #16 SP1. It also offers the greater utilitarian use over a model 1" Perhaps if the #14 has a Border Patrol Handle and a #1 Hilt, it would be a little better as a "fighter"? Just a thought.
