BMK really make some outstanding Sub Hilt Knives. The sub hilt really keep the knife in your hand with some of the big heavies. Let's see some more examples.

Tune,

Love that knife and what's not to like about Mud's work. How old is that one? Killer rig.

There's a sign in the shop... I should have taken a pic of it...EPIC fail on my part!!!
It says
"Make something cool,
and then put it in a Mudbone."
Mitchell

that about sums up Tunes knife

Steve thanks for the comments, glad you like them.
How bout a couple of re-handled Randall's with sub-hilts?
First one is a 1-7, copper hardware, Cooper Firearms gunstock handle. Second one is a 12-13 Thorpe, double sub-hilt, inspired by Bo's first sub-hilt Smithsonian. Handle is a FWI artifact tip that I had and it fit perfectly.
Mudbone leather for both.

Adding this Randall Triathlete rehandle to the thread. Very comfortable and user friendly with the sub hilt.

A couple of recently acquired sub-hilt fossil fighters dressed in Mudbone. It would appear these are similar vintage even though they came from different sellers.
