I should have looked at the maker before I went inside. It was gone when I came back out. I noticed the 2 circular fans in front of the radiator so took a couple of pics. It did have an emblem on the side that said 460. Anyone recognize the maker of this convertible? Is it a Shelby Cobra?

Eric,

Probably a kit car, the AC Cobra original cars are rarely seen. Watch some of the Barret Jackson or Mechum auctions; these original cars demand hundreds of thousands some over 1M.
Many of the kit cars are powered with Ford 289's.
Would love a ride someday.

Probably a kit car, as Warren said.

FWIW, the pink juices that drain out of a cooked steak aren't blood. Blood is very dark and thick, looks almost like used motor oil.

If the original is worth that much, you would have to be crazy to drive it anywhere.

Rob, Never knew that. I like my steaks rare, so I get a lot of pink juices. I always called the pork chorizo's I buy blood sausage because it turns my eggs red. No blood again I am guessing?

I've had the Costco "prime" meat in several cuts....doesn't taste the same to me....can't really put my finger on it...BUT it just doesn't seem to taste the same as other prime meats....maybe it's just me.

All Prime is graded by the same USDA standards no matter who is selling it. But there are more marbled examples of prime than others. I do know the butchers at Costco and if you ask nicely they will grab what they feel is the best whole NY strip, Ribeye or Filet out of the back, provided they have additional Prime meat not already out. I like thick steaks. Here in Michigan Prime meat is not available in our local grocery stores. There are a few specialty places (Whole Foods and meatpacking plants in Detroit) that do sell Prime, but for me, Costco offers the best bang for my buck. If I do get a Steak that isn't as tasty as it should be...I will grab the horseradish cream sauce.

On a side note, Costco is currently the largest seller of Prime graded Beef in the US.
