1956-58? Model 1-6, and some old rusty rifle...

Very nice pair Wally - I'm still trying to find an age appropriate Model 1 for mine.
Gotta love the CMP. Looks like a Korean War era SA receiver - NM op rod and bbl too?

If you can, read the CMP letter with it. It was sold through the DCM in 1969

My latest Model 1 7" from the late 1980's early 1990's. Carbon Blade with Stag. Rough back Johnson loose stitch sheath.

Hello all.
Here is my Springfield fighter.
Blade length 7 7/8".
Leather sheath with white oil stone.

I have some questions.
Is this one of the Northampton made knife?
And, Mosser made sheath?

I am hoping someone will note your Springfield post, photos of stone and back of sheath are pretty much the standard here.

Just lovely stag knife you have. Letting you know someone actually looks.

I had a CMP Korean era gun with all CMP papers, and the thing appeared unfired, and eventually decided to let someone else deal with it while I went back to more obviously used guns for shooting. Still my favorite true rifle for everything except humping, along with its twin son of different mothers M14.

Not to ignore the knife, another lovely old Randall.

But, I can not remove it because stone is stuck.

Use a hair dryer to soften the leather, it should come out easily.
