The Fairway Grips are produced by the Balmforth company of England. It was opened in 1880 By Edwin Berry Balmforth and his brother Thomas. They became the largest leather manufacturer of golf and tennis grips in the world. For those unfamiliar, known world wide by sports enthusiasts as the absolute best and held in the highest regard. Similar to knife sheaths, there are colors, however the natural tan is the most desired. They continue today and have added additional products thru the years. Hmmmm Family started.... owned.... and operated..... Hmmmmmm

Long time ago I did a set of golf clubs in the leather wrapped material that was supposed to stay ultra tacky. We'll the only "ultra" about it was it was a PITA to put on and not so tacky after all. Tacky price though.

Wrapped thousands of them as my day's as a Club Pro. Good ones are good.... bad ones are ...... To me at least... there seems to be fewer craftsman out there today and most products don't seem to be of the quality they used to be.
