I am good with having Micarta, and then being locked in on a brass hilt.

How about NS hilt for the last option and go with the leather handle and aluminum butt. With the wrist thong, that should be a really cool fishing knife with the classic Randall look.

If we end up with leather, it would have to have a cap, I wouldn't think rounding it would be an option... but probably an up charge.
