I have a couple of blades that I would like to have handles installed on. Scagel/Behring/1930's Randall style in particular. This is my first blade, a Model 4-5" "KIT" blade.

Man, I'm digging the Fossil Walrus Ivory idea.....or elephant ivory! I think the hilt would have to be a standard position one because of the blade already being "squared" at the ricasso.....

Fossil walrus is way cool, but so is hippo tooth!

I have seen pics of your 13 before and love it! I have never noticed the "duckhead" pommel with eyes before tho!

I have another larger blade that may become a sub-hilt fighter similar to yours in the near future!

By the way that FWI comes from James stash; beautiful color against the Crown Stag.

You have to get James excited (ask for his input as to what he thinks would look best) and you will be pleased with the result. Never got a bad knife from BMK!

That is a super nice looking, bad boy knife! I love how the ducks bill makes the "3rd hilt". I like it a lot! And the cooper engraving is nice. I like it a lot!

Well, here it is... the finished product! Out for a custom made wide throat sheath to continue with the early 1940's look! Tell me what you guys think!

There appears to be a significant amount of copper loss... But beyond that WOW. This looks FANTASTIC Bill. and the turn around time seems super fast as well. The Behring shop did an amazing job.

I'll tell you what I think Bill. I think I need a knife like that in my life!! Top draw man. Well done and congrats on it.

I wanted it to have that early Scagel/Randall slanted hilt like from the 1930's.

Here is the style of sheath that's getting made for it now....

That sheath will be a perfect compliment to it

liking that dark stag!!! Good view for polishing crown stag most of the way to avoid the tine spot. Good Get!
