This was my retirement gift to me after 21 years of service in the Army that officially concludes 31 AUG 2015. I wished I had bought one/know about Randall's years ago. I sold a NIB Gerber BMF w/sawteeth I purchased as a green 2LT in Alaska 20 years ago to partially finance this. I think I upgraded. This won't be my last one!!! Originally thought it may look cool displayed, but as soon as I held it and felt the balance, and how it fit my hand like it was custom made just for my hand, I'm afraid now it is going to be my go to knife for all things brutal. I will be beating on it. That includes chopping, whoppin', batoning and basically relying on it for lots of tasks, and certainly enjoying the heck out of it. No prying though. I never do that. If she breaks, I'll put the pieces in a display case. I don't see that happening though. _________________________
