This photo is probably posted somewhere else on the forum but not in the Knife of the Week forum where it should be.

My favorite #23 stuck in a 300 year old cypress knee(ouch) at Caddo Lake. Caddo is the largest and oldest natural lake in Texas.

Here is another 23 in yellow micarta. From the spacer size and colors it would be about the same age as Rex's. Rex and I share something else - our last name.

- -Buckspen
AKA - Bruce Buckner (originally from Kentucky)

Don't forget that Caddo Lake is in Louisiana too!!! That's where the Kickapoo's hang out.

A good friend of mine from Louisiana Tech, when we were in college together, had his home in Oil City, LA on the banks of Caddo Lake. I went home with him one weekend and his daddy called us out in the back yard to the bank of Caddo Lake and said to look over at the oil well gushing into the lake. He said we would never see that again in the future, and he was right. It was the one and only oil well gusher I have ever seen. I think it was on the Texas side of the lake. Beautiful lake, regardless.
