This one was inspired by the No 2 fighting knife or dagger as made by Randall - their interpretation of the famous, and more fragile, Fairbairn Sykes Commando knife.

This one is from 1/4 O1 toolsteel, tang is 1/4 x 1/3 and tapers to 1/5th round for the thickness of the pommel to form the rivet.

Cross guard, spacers and pommel are all brass, handle is stacked and grooved micarta, followed by stacked leather and finally by some Wild Olive.

Blade is 4 3/5 inch long, OAL is 9 1/8"

I still need to give it a final wipe down, etch it and make the sheath, but I think the idea is there.... smile

As always, thanks for looking and comments are welcome smile
