I have already shown pics of the small Sasquatch, w. cocobolo single-finger-grip handle and I really love this beauty. Now the large Sasquatch, again w. single-finger-grip handle, but this time thuya wood, arrived. Man, this is just a monster .... but a beautiful one! The blade with its fantastic recurve grind is even more prominent at the large Sasquatch. Pure elegance, although a huge knife.

Thank you! Not sure. As you know the Sasquatch is a dealer special. I bought it from another dealer. Therefore I don't know whether Doug supplied that piece of thuya wood to the shop or whether it is just a piece of thuya the shop picked from their stock.

I have two Smithsonian's on order to be delivered in 2023.
Can you take two of the best pieces an attach them to my order? laugh
You can charge me a premium, no problem.

I hope the shop keeps this wood quality. Moroccans are (I don't know if the shop buys from them directly, and that is none of my business) born negotiators and there is always room in the starting price. That is my personal experience. When I buy something from them on the street, I walk away at least three times. Don't ask for premium Thuya Burl but demand it. The direct approach is usually what works best when your negotiating with these people. Otherwise you will overpay or get lesser quality of wood or whatever you are buying.

Would you mind settling your topics about your pending orders and where to source the wood, directly with the shop and not via my thread? Appreciate it.
