Any tecchies out there tell me why when I post a pic now, it is in the post as an attachment to be opened as opposed to just opening up in the post. (like it used to)

I get that if the pic is too big. I go in and resize or crop a bit and it seems to fix it.

It's the actual size. Like if ya printed it, it wouldn't fit on a 8.5 X 11 page. even if the size is a small file size, the picture is dimensionally to big.
Check what you use to edit your pics with & see if you are just reducing the pixels & not the dimensions.
I usually crop my pics before I compress them as this helps.
If you look at the pics I sent to Pappy on his Ladies thread the pics don't show.

I'm not doing anything different than I've done before. snap an Iphone pic, email it to myself and store it on my computer. Been doing it that way for years. In fact, the recent pic I posted of my CRK folders recently was posted here somewhere before and it came up in the post. Recently posted the exact same pic and it came up as a link in my post. That's what I don't understand.

Pat, I find that the settings on my camera will change, seemingly by itself, and ultimately mess up everything. Go to your camera settings and see how many pixels it is set on. Worth a shot!
