Tony just sent me this beautiful ivory handled full size back pocket knife in D2. I absolutely love it. It will be my pocket companion (yes Tony in a slip pouch even though you don't like it) ..

It is a great knife and flawless in execution.

Thank you Tony.

Wow! That's gorgeous! Love the ivory. Do the pictures show the color of the ivory accurately? If so, I'd say that's definitely a keeper.

Thanks for the comments. All I did was the photography, Tony made the knife.. He is the master. Although I believe he is having some computer problems and hasn't seen the photo.

Yep, that is the actual color of the ivory, grain and all. Just wanted to point out one thing that Tony did mention to me the other day that many of you may not know. To properly care for this type of handle, you should apply peanut oil to it sparingly at least twice a year. Here in Colorado, where it is really dry, it is a necessity. I recently applied some to a couple of my stag pieces by Reese and the stag sucked it up like it was thirsty..

Hmm, I've never tried peanut oil on ivory or stag - I've always used mineral oil. Interesting, I'll have to try that.

Yep,

Came directly from the old dog himself.. He told me he sits in front of the TV and will rub that stuff in ivory for an extended period (paraphrase).

First, let me say "hi" as I am new to this forum(long and happy story which I will share later about this).

Second....WOW! That is a gorgeous knife. I have yet to see a TB knife "in person" but hope to soon.

Third....Thanks for providing a great venue to talk about good quality knives.
