First time I've seen the Boy Scout version--it's a great knife!
Mine, bought sometime in the 1980's, has a maroon handle...

So cool! This is one "blast from the past" that should be revived just as it was.

Despite my extensive scouting involvement for decades, I balked at the chance to acquire one of these when they were easily obtainable, a great regret to this day!

Pete I like that Buck lite A LOT!!!! AWESOME!!!

I bought 1 once in High School... yes actually IN High School from a kid. I loved it, but I left it under the seat of my '71 Impala when I sold it. I miss them both =(
