First time I've seen the Boy Scout version--it's a great knife!
Mine, bought sometime in the 1980's, has a maroon handle...

So cool! This is one "blast from the past" that should be revived just as it was.

Despite my extensive scouting involvement for decades, I balked at the chance to acquire one of these when they were easily obtainable, a great regret to this day!

That's a nice clean example. Knife and sheath must weigh next to nothing.

Light as a feather--
The knife weighs 82 grams (2-7/8 ounces)
The sheath is 14 grams (1/2 ounce)

Seeing this thread, I remembered I have a Bucklite, OD green with camo sheath

I bought 1 once in High School... yes actually IN High School from a kid. I loved it, but I left it under the seat of my '71 Impala when I sold it. I miss them both =(
