Recently acquired 5 of these Harley folders in a collection, not sure who the maker is and am looking for some help. I don't believe it's a Harley Davidson knife, rather... someone with the first or last name of Harley.

One photo of the knife and one close up of the maker's stamping, it's the word "Harley" inside a ribbon scroll.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Miles,

1) http://www.everten.com.au/Tablekraft-Harley-Cutlery-Set-58pc.html

2) And "Harley" is a trademark from Tomkin Australia Pty Ltd

May be.....

Only thing I've got is Larry Harley of Hammers Lonsome Pines Knives.... Do not think it is a match however!

Could not see any real resemblance to the one Miles has nor any logo on blades, but your right Inspector Cloussou.... No conclusive evidence!!! More at 11!

Hope it is!

Miles

I know you said that Larry Harley was not the maker, how about his father?

I got this info from someone, who is alot smarter than me.

"HARLEY, B.L.(PAP) (1919-1989)
Bristol TN Worked 1935-1983 Unmarked.
Bristol TN Worked 1983-1989 Mark: Harley

Worked with son Larry Harley 1983-1989"

Seems plausible.
