...I inadvertently deleted most of the pictures from this week-end's fishing tournament where my Bose trapper was kept very busy. However, there is this one picture left...

That's a dolphin. Or mahi-mahi in your neck of the woods. That particular one would be called a "bull" because of its head and size.

I think its one of the best tasting fish; great solid texture too.

Mahi mahi is quite tasty, especially when it's that fresh. What did you use to catch it?

John,

Dolphin, (or mahi-mahi) are really a beautiful fish when they are in the water, but once they are pulled out they lose the coloring. If you ever have the chance to see one in the water, you'll see what I mean. They are also a blast to catch as they will take off on screaming runs and will jump numerous times. If you like to fish, you'd like to catch one.

That one must've been 38+ lbs. However, the biggest dolphin in this tournament was 54lbs.
