Does anyone have a picture of one of Tony's or Reese's Saddlehorn patterns with a "cap" or have they not done one this way?

I don't recall seeing one but one will surely show up if one exists now that I have said this.

I don't know if Tony or Reese have made them with caps, but the saddlehorn pattern was historically bareheaded for all I remember seeing -- both lockback and slipjoint versions of it. I don't recall ever seeing one of the original saddlehorn patterns from any maker with a cap.

Thanks--I haven't seen one either but you can never tell and this is the place to find out!

Here ya go Mark
I cant say for sure, but I think it was after WR Case started making their Saddlehorn with a cap that Reese did this knife. I also know the customer wasn’t too wild about the cap.

Personally I think Dwight is right on the money, a SaddleHorn should be BareHead.
Hopefully the knife in this picture is the one and only.

Well, if someone wanted to give me that Reese saddlehorn with the cap, I'd take it, but yeah, saddlehorns really don't look right with a cap.
