Here is an original liner lock Cattaraugus Yukon folding hunter the “King of the Woods” (patented July 3rd 1906…hummm).
The grind is a little washed out, but you can see what’s going on.

The first Bose Yukon, a slip joint, was like the original, a saber ground blade.

Here is a comparison of the original verses the new and improved grind, which was made a few weeks after the first. It is ground to the top and a front pull was added. For cutting this is the way to go. I have also noticed on the (very few I have seen) original Yukon’s saber ground blades that the blade would rub the liners, with it ground to the top you solve that problem.

Both so Clean but I favor the newer Grind
the two pulls are sweet especially with that slightly longer pull..the plunge on the second is sleek and for me makes the swedge even more dramatic.
feel free to send her to me so I can drool on it rather than my keyboard
