My niece makes her living as a brand ambassador. She's a mixologist, and cocktail curator, specializing in American Whiskey.
What a great job and she's damn good at it! She's got me into some really super bourbon brands but wanted to hear your favorites.

Being that I am diabetic,I really cannot try out such good stuff.

But I had heard that one shot of good whiskey a day should not do any harm.

My favorite,years ago,was Gentleman Jack.

It may actually be that one shot of whiskey a day is better than wine, due to less sugar and headache, and higher anti oxidant levels. Of course, no word from the same researchers as to what actually processing the alcohol in the liver does to it, as that was no fun and no headlines and pretty much a known, bad juju.

My favorite was Old Bushmills way back when (when, as in before discovering even a shot of booze left its mark the next day in outlook and physical feeling), generally in coffee.

Women are discovering same thrill of whiskey and chocolate. And my thought on reading the latter was, "now THERE'S a winner."

Bourbon, Chocolate, Women - now there's a dangerous (but exciting) combination.
The CBS news reported this week-end that coffee and alcohol have been shown to extend life - 3 of each per day was the amount that was mentioned.
Wish I had known that before I quit drinking alcohol and went strictly to coffee.

Now that's funny Dave.

Would like to visit Kentucky one day and tour Maker's Mark and Buffalo Trace.

When I drive to BLADE Show, I pass the turn-off to the Jack Daniels Distillery. I always think, I should do that someday. As yet, I haven't taken the time.

I should make it to 187, then, no problem.

PS- probably was politically inconvenient to mention, but it probably will turn out all the alcohol and coffee partakers are via root cause analysis also smokers, and that cigarettes actually extend life by 20 years, in which case, I should make 207, then, no problem.
